 Built in Cu Chi, a land famous for its
underground tunnels, about 700 km from Ho Chi Minh City, the Ben Duoc
Monument to the War Martyrs is a harmonious architectural complex. The
monument is dedicated to the war martyrs from 40 cities and provinces,
who laid down their lives on the battle fields in Saigon - Cho Lon -
Gia Dinh during the anti-French and US resistance wars for national
independence and freedom.

 The sobering War Remnants Museum was
established in September 1975 in Ho Chi Minh City. It contains
countless artifacts, photographs and pictures documenting some of the
less heroic activities carried out by the US army in Vietnam.

 The Ky Hoa Tourist Area, located in the
centre of Ho Chi Minh City, is a spacious area of 14 ha. In Ky Hoa, one
can find a park, market, modern hotels and a wide array of restaurants.

 Giac Vien Pagoda is located about 10km
south-west of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, amid a quiet area near Dam Sen
(lotus pond) tourist park. It has the ancient architecture of the
pagodas built in the Nguyen dynasty of the 19th century, and typical
characteristics of the southern area in terms of the architecture,
design and arrangement of the worshipping shrines.

 Thong Nhat Conference Hall is situated
at 106 Nguyen Du street in Ho chi Minh City. Originally Norodom Palace
and the Palace of Indochina's Governor General, it was built in 1868.
Until 1954, Ngo Dinh Diem, South Vietnam's President, lived and worked
in Norodom Palace.
