There are tons of great places to eat in Hanoi, ranging in price from less than a $1 (street stalls and pho) to over $20 (The Press Club) for a meal.  For those not wanting to cook, eating in Hanoi can be easy and cheap. Below are some of the places. By the way, Vietnamese for 'dog meat' is 'thit cho', so you know what to avoid.

Bac Ha District is located in Lao Cai Province, a mountainous region in northern Viet Nam. Bac Ha is well-known for its naturally subtropical scenery and average temperature of 19°C. Tam Hoa plums are really a local specialty: sweet and fresh.

It was my fourth visit to Ha Long Bay, but the first time my mother and I could together float on the sea, from sunset to sunrise on a large wooden junk. Our three days and two nights on a the wooden junk named Valentine, of Indochina Sails may just be our most memorable trip together since I was 10 years old and accompanied my mother to visit the sea for the first time.
