My Hoa Bird Reserves - Ben Tre province

vacpond.jpgMy Hoa Bird Reserve is located in My Hoa Village in Ba Tri District. Along the banks of Ba Lai River in direction of My Hoa are many fruit trees like guava, coconut and Siam custard apple.
The dominant fruit trees in My Hoa are the date, bup tra, o ro and sea bindweed. Getting to the bird reserve at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, one will view thousands of storks returning from their hunting flights and perching on trees, giving a white colour to the branches. Besides the white storks and herons, there are also ivory storks, vong voc and all sorts of wild animals like bats, weasels, snakes, pythons,etc.
